Regina, (population 200,000) is the capital of Saskatchewan, founded in 1885 with the arrival of the Canadian Pacific Railway in Western Canada. Stained glass is found in many churches and other public buildings.
There are more than twenty Roman Catholic and Anglican buildings, as well as fine Baptist, Presbyterian, United and Eastern Rite churches. Windows from Canada, England, France, Wales and the United States are abundant.
Secular buildings with interesting windows include the Armoury, the RCMP Chapel, the Cornwall Street Canadian Legion, the Casino and Darke Hall.
