Pair of Marbleized Windows

circa 1920

The Tiffany Company developed a method of mass-producing gold "marbleized" glass, which was widely imitated in the early years of the 20th century. Clients could specify border details and hand-painted roundels to customize their windows. Similar looking windows cast a golden glow in thousands of North American churches.
