Frederic Rault, France
1977 to 1984
The Latin notation commemorates the fifty-year Jubilee celebration of Gravelbourg becoming a Diocese in 1930. The figure appears to be St. Joseph, the Patron Saint of Canada.
The ten nave windows are more or less facsimilies of those that Charles Maillard painted in the 1930s. It is not clear how closely Frederic Rault replicated Maillard's original designs. The thin painting and relatively weak colouration may be similar to what Maillard had created.
The nave windows all feature a border of grapes and wheat, Christian symbols, and Biblical faces in the top roundel.
