St. Brigid of Ireland

Brigid (451-525) was a nun, and founded an early convent in Ireland.
It is thought that the artist was William Meikle, who worked for Hobbs in the 1940s. Meikle later started his own studio in Toronto and did many windows at St Mary the Virgin Anglican Church in Regina, also on our site.
