Face of St. Theresa with Dalle Halo (detail)

Rault Brothers, France

St. Theresa of Lisieux (1873-1897), known as the "Little Flower" was a nun, and, after her early death, was a popular Saint in France.

Because of the reversed installation, the full 3D effect of the dalle halo is somewhat muted. Nevertheless, the halo's subtle richness is lovely.
