Floral Detail with Opalescent Glass

Louis Comfort Tiffany developed a method to create an expensive hand-painted look with mass-produced opalescent glass, which was widely imitated. Tiffany had travelled to Egypt as a young man and rediscovered the ancient technique of iridescent Egyptian glass ware.
