Three highly original windows grace the small chapel in the Ursuline retirement home in the town of Humboldt.
For many years the Ursuline nuns operated a large convent school in the nearby town of Bruno. When that school closed around 1990 the eight large windows were repositioned to four other buildings, in Saskatoon, Moose Jaw and Humboldt.
The windows themselves are large and spectacular, using a combination of dalle de verre and enameled glass. They express a modernist take on Catholic traditions and are notable for their vivid colours and lively expression of Christian themes.
