The museum is housed in a former Canada Post Office. Variations of this handsome style, with its asymmetrical clock tower set on a street corner, are common throughout Canada.
In Western Canadian cities such as Regina, Moose Jaw and Vancouver, similar buildings have been successfully repurposed, preserving their irreplaceable architecture.
