Sing to the Lord in French Dalle de Verre

Rault Brothers, Rennes, France

1963

These spectacularly unique windows created for the Ursuline Convent in nearby Bruno made extensive use of inch-thick dalle de verre ("slab glass").

When the respected residential girls school closed around 1990, its eight windows were relocated to Holy Spirit Church in Saskatoon, Vanier Collegiate in Moose Jaw and the Ursuline Retirement Home in Humboldt.

This window is one of only a few examples of stained glass in any Saskatchewan museum.
