Waters of Life Window

Lee Brady, Saskatoon

circa 1990

Cycles of life in nature are expressed in this triangular window combining diagonal and curved forms.

Set high above the floor in a dormer, the water imagery in this window symbolizes both rain, and God’s conciliatory Rainbow after Noah survived the great flood in the Old Testament. A circular motif suggests our planet, and its ecological cycles of life.

Although set in a high dormer in the roof, the large scale of these windows helps makes them visible from below.
