The Bank--and its namesake city--feature two Eastern Canadian Indians in the formal Crest. The Latin "Concordia Salus," means, "Well-being through Harmony."
"Concordia Salus" is also the motto of the City of Montreal, and is sometimes used as a synonym for the city, as in Concordia University.
