The Presentation in the Temple Memorial

Following Jewish law, Mar and Joseph took Jesus to the temple in Jerusalem to purify Mary and present Jesus. Simeon stands on the left, holding a pair of turtledoves for sacrifice. Next to him is the Prophetess Anna.
