Transfiguration of Christ

Lavers and Barraud (and later, Westlake) were an English firm that produced stained glass windows from 1855 until 1921. They were part of the Gothic Revival movement that affected English church architecture in the 19th century.

Christ stands in a white garment of glory on the cusp of a rainbow, while three of his Apostles tremble in awe below. Beside Christ, two Old Testament prophets praise him, along with ranks of adoring angels. The Trinity is indicated by the hand of God the Father and the Dove of the Holy Spirit above Christ.
