Face of Mary Magdalene (detail)

McCausland, Toronto

1956

Saint Mary Magdalene was only decided to have been a prostitute some three centuries after her death. Christ's acceptance of a prostitute would be, of course, a positive expression of his infinite forgiveness.

This window is unrelated to the Celtic Studios windows, and was separately made by the McCausland studio of Toronto.
